FERRARI ROMA SPIDER: FEATURES AND DESIGN

Ferrari amazes again with a new launch with timeless charm: Ferrari Roma Spider! Ferrari Roma Spider was conceived by the Maranello house as a return of the Italian "Dolce Vita" of the 50s and 60s but with today's technology and design. The result is a car with an elegant and timeless allure that is dynamic and contemporary at the same time!

The great dominant and differentiating feature of the Ferrari Roma Spider is undoubtedly the convertible design with a soft top! In fact, 54 years have passed since the last mass-produced convertible from Maranello with a canvas roof and front engine, named the Ferrari 365 GTS 4! Here instead today Ferrari returns to recover the past and translate it into the present with a car that manages to emerge and stand out thanks to a perfect balance between modern and elegant design and high technical performance!

Ferrari Rome Spider: Design

The new Ferrari Roma Spider is defined as 2+ or a car for two people with two additional additional rear seats, even if the space is reduced compared to the coupé from which it derives, with which it still shares the front area and rear light clusters. In the rear area, however, some Portofino M solutions have been used but adapted to accommodate the five-layer hood with a tailored texture, managing to completely hide the hood when traveling. In fact, the hood can be opened and closed in 13.5 seconds up to 60 km/h and can be ordered in four shades of tailored fabric with shades of red.

In general, the lines of the new Ferrari Roma Spider have been perfected by the Flavio Manzoni Style Center without altering the overall proportions, combining contemporary design with traditional and distinctive Prancing Horse elements.

Ferrari Roma Spider: Technical Characteristics

The engine of the new Ferrari Roma Spider is, as always, the protagonist of Ferrari cars. In this case it is a 3.9 V8 biturbo with 620 HP and 760 Nm, winner of the "International Engine of the Year" award for four consecutive years and capable of delivering 80% of torque already at 1,900 rpm. The gearbox is an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and has a layout derives from the SF90 Stradale.

The car also features "Variable Boost Management" technology which varies the torque according to the gear used to always give the right thrust with an eye to consumption.

There is also the "Side Slip Control System" which manages to estimate the trim angle of the vehicle in real time to coordinate and activate the dynamic control systems in a punctual and precise manner, in order to offer a driving experience characterized by emotions , precision and safety!

 Ferrari Roma Spider: Interior

The interior of the Ferrari Roma Spider is characterized by the same formal approach that distinguishes the Ferrari Roma, linking itself to the tradition of the Ferraris of the 70s but evolving the concept of "dual cockpit" which extends throughout the passenger compartment, including the rear seats as well and thus creating two real modules and an almost symmetrical passenger compartment.

Ferrari is once again characterized by a great refinement of fabric and technology.

In fact, a digital instrument panel and an 8.4" central display (with wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) have been included, from which the entertainment and climate control functions are controlled.

It is also possible to request the addition of a third screen in the passenger compartment on the passenger side on which the main driving information is projected.

The steering wheel features touch controls with a slightly reworked design compared to the Ferrari Roma, and with the engine start button backlit in red.
