To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Lamborghini brand, the new Lamborghini Revuelto is being launched, the first plug-in hybrid super sports car by Lamborghini. Thus it marks a big decisive step towards the future of the company which aims at the hybrid transformation of the entire range by the end of 2024.

The new Lamborghini Revuelto stands out for its unmatched structure, innovative design and maximum efficiency aerodynamics. In fact, it turns out to be a car projected into the future but still faithful to the company's tradition and is the result of the meeting of the desire to reduce emissions and keep up with the times without renouncing the driving sensations typical of Lamborghini.

Engine and driving modes 

The new Lamborghini Revuelto combines an 825 bhp 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 internal combustion engine with hybrid technology thanks to three 140 kW electric propulsion units (about 190 bhp). It is in fact a plug-in hybrid and the three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery, easily rechargeable in 30 minutes, and allow the new Lamborghini to also be driven in electric mode. There are also 13 driving modes and they are added to the classic City, Road, Sport and Corsa and the brand new Recharge, Hybrid and Performance. 

Frame and design and customization 

The new Revuelto features the best weight/power ratio in Lamborghini history which translates into acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds to reach a top speed of over 350 km/h. The vehicle manages to obtain these performances mainly thanks to the light carbon frame and its perfectly aerodynamic design. 

The interior design is also innovative and features a racing-inspired steering wheel design with integrated controls for managing all the main driving and infotainment system functions. The car features an 8.4" vertical touchscreen and two 12.3" (driver's side) and one 9.1" (passenger side) digital displays located in the cockpit. These screens offer 3D graphics, animations and widgets made especially for the Revuelto. 

The infotainment, on the other hand, also includes the Amazon Alexa voice assistant to activate functions such as Climate, Navigation and Media, while the Lamborghini Unica App allows to communicate with the car from a distance, being able to view the fuel level, lock and unlock the doors and receive alerts in the event of theft. 

The new Revuelto also becomes the most customizable model from the Lamborghini house with more than 400 different colors available for the bodywork to which each customer can add the possibility of choosing the livery they prefer most. Customization also rhymes with sustainability thanks to the attention to the paints used and the materials cut in the Lamborghini Saddlery thanks to some machinery that limits the production of waste during the process without affecting the craftsmanship that distinguishes Lamborghini excellence.
